steins.gg.steins.gg was shut down because the .gg domain was expensive to maintain and I could not keep operating the site.

Current Status
PUBG LITE is being rolled out mainly in Southeast Asia. Japan is still undecided.
Installing with a VPN
I connected to Malaysia and installed it.
Is it okay to install it using a VPN?
Do this at your own risk. I did not find anything specific on the official site, and the installation uses its own client rather than Steam.
For reference, official PUBG support has stated that “you will not be banned just for using a VPN.” (It is unclear whether this also applies to PUBG LITE.)
No, you can not get banned for using a vpn. -S

Summary
Team Deathmatch is seriously fun. I think the gunfights in the final circle are the best part of battle royale, and this feels like a casual way to get that experience. The recoil and everything else are exactly the same, so it is good gunfight practice.
