[PUBG] How to Change Time Zones with One Click [Tokyo ⇔ Beijing]

Good morning/afternoon/evening! I’m the author, and lately I’ve been completely hooked on PUBG!

These days 4×4 maps are popular, but sometimes you want to play an 8×8 map too, right? The problem is that 8×8 maps are not very popular, so matchmaking tends to take a while. If you are not playing in scrims and such, you do not get many chances to play them.

In times like that, did you know that you can greatly shorten matchmaking time just by setting your PC’s time zone to Beijing?

This time, I will show you an easy way to change PUBG servers with one click!

Create Time-Zone Switching Files

In PUBG, you can change the region of the server you are matched into by changing your PC’s time zone.

• Set it to “Tokyo (UTC+9:00)” → KRJP (Korea/Japan server)
• Set it to “Beijing (UTC+8:00)” → AS (Asia server)

However, changing it manually from Windows’ “Date & time settings” takes around 3 or 4 clicks, and doing that every time is a hassle… So let’s create files that let you switch with one click!

Step 1. Create Text Files

First, on your desktop or somewhere similar, choose right-click → New → Text Document.

It is easier to understand if you prepare two files, one for Beijing and one for Tokyo. (Any file names that make sense to you are fine.)

• Beijing.txt
• Tokyo.txt

Step 2. Edit the Files

Open each file in Notepad or another text editor, then copy and paste the following contents.

• Beijing.txt

:: Beijing
tzutil /s "China Standard Time"

• Tokyo.txt

:: Tokyo
tzutil /s "Tokyo Standard Time"

After pasting them in, make sure to save the files properly.

Step 3. Change the Extension to .bat

Once the files are saved, change each file’s extension to .bat.

• Beijing.txt → Beijing.bat
• Tokyo.txt → Tokyo.bat

Step 4. Run the File

Now, before launching PUBG, all you have to do is double-click the corresponding .bat file for the server you want to use! If the time zone of the clock shown in the system tray has changed, it worked. Nice job!
